开学前的重头戏

2010年的开始,除了
吃,睡,玩,发梦 和
培养心情准备过年外,
开学前的重头戏就是 P M P 了..

PMP是什么呢?
是个超有意义的活动,
[赶快准备tisu,不然等下你的电脑会中水坏掉。不是口水,是泪水]

因为顾虑到外国朋友,我贴英文的上来。

其实是转贴资料而已。“不要拿鞋子丢我。”


PEER MENTORING PROGRAMME

Objective

Are you nervous about new campus life as a university freshmen?

Do you feel that there is nobody in supporting you throughout this adjustment periods?

Don’t worry, PMP aims to create a helpful community in UTAR where freshmen can always rely on their resourceful seniors, the peer mentors.

What is PMP?

Peer Mentoring Programme is a “friends making friends” programme in essence, which offers a connecting bridge between seniors and university freshmen.

Seniors are to provide guidance to the freshmen by sharing their valuable experiences in adapting to the campus life.

Who is Mentors and Mentees?

In PMP, Mentors refers to a trusted friend and couns

ellor, usually a more experienced person.

The individual who is taken care by the mentor is called a mentee.

Programme Structure

In session 1, we will organise an ice-breaking session for you to get familiar with your assigned peer mentors. Another excitement is that you will be also mixing around with a big group of mentees and making friend s with them!

Session 2 & 3 are for you to share any adjustment problems such as accommodation, transportation and your financial concern.

Your peer mentor will try to get you altogether for a leisure session, so be participative and take pleasure of it!

PMP Closing session is what session 4 all about! Come and join us for the closing celebration of the PMP!

You will be invited by your peer mentors to join the events organized by Counselling and Guidance Unit, such as Peer Helping Programme, EQ Workshop and etc.
